Our Reviews
which helps to maintain my mental health, and most of all I am not able to travel the way that I need to take care of family business out of state. Despite all those things not being able to be done because I am without my vehicle, I have not received one phone call with an update on the status of my vehicle as of today. I went to the dealership one day to get some paperwork on the new truck and that is when I learned of the back order on the second transmission. Imagine how I felt when I pulled up and saw both of my trucks sitting side by side neither one of them working and both with the same issue. Buyers beware of this dealership. They only care about one thing and that is the bottom line of that sale. They offered a more expansive vehicle to me to purchase even after I gave them my affordable price range. Again, that bottom line was there goal! My truck been there over 30 days!
I left the service department after paying a ridiculous amount of money on repairs only for it to BREAK DOWN a mile down the road. The service manager came out yelling loudly at me that it was all our fault, and charged me even more to fix the car. He was so demeaning that I literally say in their waiting room in tears with no one coming to speak with me. When I was called about my complain later, Mr. Council told me he would look into it and make it right, but then refused to return any of my contact attempts afterword. I will tell everyone I know not to go there. Belittling women and car repairs that dont last 5 minutes. Terrible.
ZERO stars. Go elsewhere, buyer beware!! They will take every opportunity to scam/rip you off. Very deceitful, underhanded practices! The price they advertise is THOUSANDS lower until you get there. They seriously try to up sale things you don't need, not to mention including undisclosed fees. Oh and you cannot pay cash for the vehicle, it HAS to be financed, and it HAS to be to their choosing/interest rate. The finance officer was very condescending. We begin the electronic signature program, which was "having issues". Needless to say we didn't get a copy of the documents we signed. Several requests later, we STILL didn't get a copy.We left his office and returned to the showroom, where no one was! We literally had to stand and wait for the salesman to return, who handed us the keys and said "congratulations". We got ZERO introduction to our new vehicle and its functions. We really wanted this vehicle, or we wouldn't have agreed to the many alternative issues we encountered. We sent an email to Mr. Hanania Jr, who deferred to the New Car Sales Manager, who left us a pleasant voicemail, but never returned our call. That's been over a week ago. The only restitution we requested was the documentation of our transaction, which he did mail. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. There actually are good, honest dealers out there...just not this one!!!
Not a trust worthy or professional service department. I had an issue on a new truck and after half a dozen visits, the fix was worse than the problem. I know there aren't many outstanding dealer service department, but this was my worst experience. I don't recommend.
I would like to highly recommend Hanania Buick, GMC in St Augustine Florida. I had the best time with Mike Sabadosa, he is patient and listened to what I was looking for and together we made an excellent decision with a Buick Enclave. Mike is very knowledgeable about the vehicles and the buying process, very organized and the complete process was under 4 hours. That included financing, plates, registration, detail prep and gas for the new car. If you are in the area stop and ask for Mike, he will work for you and get you a great deal.
I have nothing but praise for this dealership. I got a good reliable vehicle with low mileage. There are tools available to you to ensure that you’re making an informed purchase as far as the condition of the vehicle. Carfax, self inspection., etc. They out every vehicle through a 121 pt. Inspection before listing
Bought a vehicle from them and reside out of state. Same day I purchased I had valve stem issues on tire and ultimately had to replace the tire at a local tire shop due to a compromised tube. Then I drove home. I sent video to sales manager proving the issue and to get reimbursed. Same week i had transmission issues had to fix that. Once that happened I was ghosted for 2 weeks. Their response “you have a factory warranty, just take it to another dealership”. Once they get the sale they don’t care about you. They will leave you high and dry with a pre existing problem they should have fixed. Then they will lie to you until you get tired of contacting them and getting voicemails. Nothing was done about it. They do not care about you. They only care about your money.
STAY AWAY. Walked away from a used truck deal because these people are lairs. Tried to jack the price up by 3 grand for muffler polish and a blinker fluid accessories package. I told the con artist to remove that line and re write it and you would probably have a sale. They refused, I left. Bought a brand new truck about 20 minutes later from another dealer. Just tell the truth that the price is 46. Not 43 plus 3k worth of crap that nobody would/should ever buy. I was interested at 43. Not for 46. These liars give car salesman's a bad name.
Out of Towners beware! My wife and I were on our way to Port Canaveral when we started having car trouble. The front end of the car was shaking badly at 70-75 mph along with some sputtering to the point I had to pull over and have it towed to Jack Hanania Buick GMC. No check engine light came on. I spoke with Daniel from the service department who ensured me they will take care of it while we were on vacation. After having the car for about four days and no response from anyone I decide to call and check the status of the vehicle. I spoke with a different service advisor and he told me that we had to rebuild the engine on a 2018 Chevy Malibu that have been running fine for the last five years. The service advisor told me the cost to repair the vehicle was $ 14,000. So I said nope I'll take it to another dealership. I loaded the vehicle on a trailer and brought it back to GA to my local dealership. My local dealership did a diagnosis on the vehicle and told me only repairs I needed were tires and an alignment. No issues with the engine, head gaskets, or turbo all which Jack Hanania said needed replacing. Beware of this dealership especially if you are from out of town.
Full brakes, rotors, etc. front and rear. 3000 miles later front brakes froze up and turned the pads to ashes. $915.00 later back on the road again. The not our fault response was not expected. No help from GM ither per Chicago dealer. So sorry, your work was done out I f state.
AVOID this dealership, GMC or CHEVY. BUYER BE WARNED, excellent chance of getting scammed and ripped off. 100+ horrible reviews should be enough to convince you. They will LYE and DECEIVE you. HIDDEN and undisclosed fees. The price you see is not the price you get, charges several THOUSAND OVER MSRP. Dealer reviews are 1.7 NOT 4.7. The 1.7 is only because you can't leave 0 stars. They won't disclose GM incentives. Any good review means they don't know they were ripped off or don't care. They say that they can get away with this because of market conditions however people are suffering from high gas prices, inflation, soaring food costs and don't need to be SCAMMED. Extremely DECEPTIVE and UNDERHANDED practices. Do your research and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE Goes for service also. .
I purchased pre-pandemic and got a car at a good price. The salesman didn’t know much about the car other than what was on the sticker. We did a test drive and then sat down to talk numbers. They paid off my trade-in which was fair. When the salesman came back with the numbers from finance, it was astronomical. I gave them the opportunity to be honest because you can easily look up the average interest-rate for your credit score and do an online calculator to find your payment. I asked to see the breakdown and simply let them know that the additional charges would not be paid by me. If they wanted to remove them, I would take the car. If not, I’ll leave. After much back-and-forth the manager finally said OK I got the car at the price I wanted. Can’t complain. It’s very simple by the car at the price you want. They either want to sell it or not.
If I could give no stars I would. I bought my GMC Acadia a year ago and I’ve had nothing but problems costing me thousands. I am a mother of 11 and have spent more on this vehicle in 1 year than I have my whole family. The owner makes millions off people and unfortunately I was one of the unfortunate that got my head ripped off.
Same experience as others here. 10k markup on prices, 4k "family plan" tacked on, cannot opt out. Low offer on trade. Overall bad experience and a waste of time.
Service was the best I’ve had in years in and out in under the time I was quoted with a free wash
Called to get pricing on a vehicle on their lot and pricing for my trade-in. Came back with pricing the made sense for me and I asked about any manufacture rebates and any other dealer fees. They responded that there was a $2k rebate and there was a dealer fee and a market adjustment fee. I then had to ask what those additional dealer fees totaled. They then responded that there was a $900 dealer fee and a $7000 market adjustment fee. If I wouldn't have asked he would not have disclosed these fees. I am not opposed to paying over sticker due to current market conditions but this should be disclosed without me having to inquire. I would have a 4 hour round trip drive to buy this vehicle and would have been extremely upset if this was "sprung" on me after visiting the dealer. Buyer beware!!! They are charging on this vehicle a 15% dealer upcharge and this was not disclosed until I pressed them. Speaks volume about their ethics.
Called about a vehicle and confirmed price and availibility then set up appt for following day. On the way there sales person says by the way, forgot to tell you we have a 10k add on for that vehicle just so you know. This was never listed on website or mentioned. Manager then said it's a "disclaimer" at bottom of the page.
I wish I could give this dealership NO STARS! I spoke with a salesperson regarding a Yukon. The price was $62,660 with the GMC $500 discount. Went to the dealership and when presented with financing of the car, they had an additional $8,000 due to low inventory. They also added $3,995 for a family plan, which included a lot of nothing!! Also offered me $31,500 for my 2016 Yukon which according to KBB was worth a trade in value between 32,500 and 38,000 with the medium price being $36,000. When asked why the value was so low, was told that they consider all trades fair condition for trade in. My car was in good condition not fair, and even had tires that were less than 2 months old. We drove 49 miles to purchase a vehicle that the MSRP on their website stated was $62,660 only to be presented with a price of $75,000. When I asked why the MSRP was different on their website I was told GMC will not allow them to change it. So be aware that the price on their website is NOT what they sell the vehicle for. Again, the price difference was $12,000. The manager also told me that everything was more expensive right now. He gave me the example of what is going on in the housing market. I explained houses APPRECIATE, cars DEPRECIATE! Also advised him that it is not financially smart to pay $12,000 over MSRP. Told the manager that their dealership is very deceitful. The sales person should have told me the difference in price before I drove so far. They also told me that all the dealerships are charging these prices. That is a lie. Bought a nicer Yukon with a lot more options for a lot less the very next day at Coggin GMC. Call other dealerships……Coggin nor Nimnicht charge over MSRP. There are probably others as well. I only called two dealerships and neither are gauging their customers.
Took my Tahoe in for a battery drain problem, 4 days later I was told the repair would be $1,000+. After part was put in they told me the problem still existed. I had them take the part out and took it to palm coast/tom Gibbs Chevrolet and they fixed it for $189 in a couple hours. Jack Hanania told me I also needed brakes and a new battery. Gibbs checked both and they are fine. I spent 4 nights in a hotel with a rental car. the Gibbs technician told me there was a service bulletin out on the problem, which I relayed to Hanania and they told me it did not apply. Turns out that was the problem. Worst experience in 50+ years of driving with Jack Hanania. They still charged me $208 for the analysis which was all wrong. Don't trust these guys.
Been a palm coast resident for 37 years and have bought several cars and trucks at different dealers and I got ripped off at least 3 grand! The finance manager Emilio is a liar and gains trust then takes you for every last dollar.. BEWARE, bad people work here and the owner never reached out to me because he knows!
MICHAEL WAS GREAT!!! HOWEVER, JASON, SALES MANAGER NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. AND, WOULD NOT BUDGE ON HIGH MILES VEHICLE... GOT A BETTER ONE! Yay
I have purchased 3 vehicles previously from this dealer when it was Jack Wilson and will never purchase from them again. I was there on Saturday and was treated very rudely. I was interested in a vehicle and told the salesperson that I was eligible for the family plan but after the test drive I was told they didn't take it on the vehicle I was interested in. This should have been mentioned before the test drive so I wouldn't have wasted my time.
Every time I take my truck in to just get an Oil change they always come up with things they say I need to do that are not necessary just to dollar you to death they sell you stuff you don't need like you need to change your break fluid or your antifreeze or you need an alignment or your cabin filter is bad my truck only has 24 thousand miles on it it is a rip off I told them i would not be back I will go else where they can rip off some others, not me the dealer ship has changed hands since I bought my truck I do not like them it used to be an honest dealership when it was Jack Wilson
During my very first time at this dealership I received very poor customer service today when I went to pick up my GMC Sierra from an oil change appt. While my vehicle was there one of the service members who was working on my vehicle dropped my keys which broke the key fob. When I go to get my vehicle they hand me the keys which were taped with scotch tape to my fob. I then am brought back to the back and was told that well since its its $90 for a new one and it was not a new fob that they will split it with me. This seemed ridiculous considering when I came in my keys and fob were intact and in perfect working condition.
When I returned to purchase a car after we had concluded the negotiations over the phone the sales manager greeted me with a racial slur. Twice they told me that something was required by state law that was not (I demanded that they show me the statute). They made me wait 90 minutes to pay the finance guy for the car. There was another person with the finance guy who kept asking the same personal questions over and over again after I had told him it was none of his business. They ordered me to sign a charity donation that comes out of sales tax money, which really was pushing their own political agenda. When I was paying the finance person, he wanted $ 4,000 more than the agreed upon price and I had to get him to correct the figures. At the end they insisted that I sign an arbitration agreement, that I did not sign. They did not provide a bill of sale. I would have walked out several times, except I wanted the car and the GM incentives were ending that day, so I couldn't go to another dealer (it was after 9 PM when I finally got out of the dealership, I had been there since 5 PM).
